What Can I Expect From GoBoost Ads?
What Can I Expect when Advertising with GoBoost EZ Ads?
Simply put, advertising is expensive for any business. What happens when we take a look at the HVAC industry in particular? Read on to find out some general guidelines and expectations you can have when it comes to advertising for your business using our services.
CPL or Cost Per Lead, is the amount of money it costs to receive a qualified lead or interested potential customer through advertising efforts. Several sources, including the Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA), cite that the average CPL in the HVAC industry is currently just under $300. This number can change dramatically based on things like your geographic location, provider used for ads, competition in the industry, and even the type of service being advertised. Another article by Media Monkey goes so far as to state that the “national average ranges from $400-$800 depending on the manufacturer you ask or the article that you consult” (What is an HVAC lead worth?).
So, at the very least, you should expect to spend at least $300 per month in advertising in order to gain 1 POTENTIAL customer. There is no guarantee that the money that goes out will come back in and also no guarantee that you will close the deal with someone who is seeking out your services as a viable fit. Just like with getting a brand new domain for a website, it can take time to build enough organic traffic to produce results. This may seem like a lot of money to fork over if you’ve never advertised before, but compare it with how much you can make on new installs if it does work, and you will find it may be worth it for your business.
Generally speaking, those that are already advertising and that have been for a while are spending quite a bit to do so. These companies have built this marketing strategy up over time and have consistently committed to the idea of advertising their business across markets such as Google and Facebook. “Average advertising costs for small business operations that use Google Ads as part of their online advertising strategy are between $9,000 and $10,000 per month.” (Goran, 2022). WebFX recommends that any small business spends about 7-10% of their monthly revenue in digital marketing (2022).
One thing to remember is that there is no true guarantee that advertising will bring in new business, but it can greatly increase your chances for opportunities to come your way. If your business has the budget for it, consider utilizing digital advertising in conjunction with other self taught methods to really boost your business online and garner more new customers.
An organic method to obtaining new customers can include garnering reviews from existing customers. Use our EZ Reviews tool to help you! Even if you are not utilizing ads, earning more and more reviews online is one of the best ways to increase organic traffic to your website and business overall!
