Domain Registrar's

What is a Domain?

A domain is a unique name found after the www. in a web address, and after the ‘@’ in an email address. It does NOT include "www." or "https://" but it DOES include ".com". Domains can be purchased for a yearly subscription through Domain Registrars. A unique and memorable domain name is an important part of any company's online presence.

What is a Domain Registrar?

A Domain Registrar is a company that hosts and keeps track of used and available domains. There are a couple of different companies that are very popular, including GoDaddy, NameCheap, Wix, and Google. However, these are only a few of the available sites to purchase and manage your domain.

Why do you need access?

Your Domain Registrar is where you manage your domain. Within your registrar, GoBoost will need to manage your DNS settings to redirect your old site to your new one!

Can't find your Domain Registrar? No worries!

We can help you find it. Just follow these quick instructions!

  • Go to this search and put in your domain name (like google.com or joeshvac.com), then click "Search."
  • Look for the section that says “Registrar Information.” That should indicate the name of the registrar that you have an account with.
  • There is also some information about the business that owns the domain in the "Contact Info" section. Usually, this is you, but sometimes a distributor, territory manager, or someone may purchase a domain for you. In that instance, you would have to reach out to them to get access.
