Redirecting Your Domain On Your Own
Redirecting your domain can be confusing, it should only be attempted if you have some knowledge or experience with DNS modifications and Nameservers. Otherwise, reach out to our support team for guided assistance.
If you do wish to redirect your domain, you can do so by following the steps below:
- Log in to your domain registrar (Wherever you purchased or store your domain such as GoDaddy, NameCheap, Google Domains, etc.)
- You'll need to change your “A” Record within your DNS settings. Here are some common Domain Registrars and their guides:
- The basic process for redirecting your domain on any registrar:
- Locate your domain within your account
- Select ‘Manage DNS’ or ‘DNS Settings’ for that domain
- Locate the “A” Record and find an ‘Edit’ button
- Change the value of the “A” Record to 35.226.16.174
- Ensure there is a CNAME record in place with the name/alias field set to WWW and the value field pointed at your domain or “@” symbol
Make sure you let our support team know when you've made this change!
