GoBoost Ads Budget and Strategy: How to Plan for Advertising using GoBoost Ads

In order to get your business across to new people, advertising is essential these days. According to an article on SmallBizGenius, “Average advertising costs for small business operations that use Google Ads as part of their online advertising strategy are between $9,000 and $10,000 per month.” (Goran, 2022). He also states that budgets for social media marketing are expected to grow by close to 12% by 2026. With that being said, developing a monthly budget for marketing and advertising your business is a really good idea. Your budget may look different from another company’s depending on your goals, what you can handle, and what your revenue really looks like month to month. This article has some more information on what results you can expect to get out of your spend.

Within GoBoost, you have the ability to control your monthly budget for either Google Ads or Facebook Ads. If you start with a low budget and want to raise it after some time, you can always do so. Simply log into your account at https://home.goboost.com and head straight to your “Boosted Services”.

Once you’re there, you will see an overview of any previous selections made in the past.

If you need a break, you can turn ads off and back on at any time by using the toggle in the upper right-hand corner. You can also check your settings to make sure your Facebook is properly connected so that the ads populate through.

Boost Zone is where you can adjust where the ads will appear or be boosted for your company. Please note that there is a chance the ads can sometimes show in outside areas as well due to Google and Facebook algorithms.

To change your balance, you can click on either Boost Balance, or Boost Strategy at the bottom.

If you don’t want to have a monthly budget, you can use the Starter plan, which doesn’t renew after the month. This may be good for a quick and temporary boost and promotion of your business. Generally speaking, the amount of money that you choose to invest will correlate with the results you achieve. A monthly budget that you can monitor is generally best if you want to stick with a firm price cap each month and truly begin advertising for your company. If you’re ready to go all in with ads, the aggressive plan is best and will automatically reset the budget as soon as your balance gets below 10% rather than on a monthly basis.

If you have not already, check out the article we wrote on what to expect from using Ads . While $50 is the minimum amount set for two of the strategies above, it is not recommended based on research to limit yourself to such a low budget. You will want to set an ample budget if you wish to make advertising sustainable and a long-term practice.
