What is Call Tracking and How Does it Work?

Call Tracking is a functionality available within Sites which allows you to be able to record incoming phone calls to your company and listen to the recordings at any time afterward. Call Tracking offers more security and confidence to your company in knowing that your customers are being handled and spoken to with integrity and honesty.

The process works by redirecting phone calls on your website from a tracking phone number to your business phone number. Using the tracking phone number as a starting point is what allows GoBoost the ability to record phone calls. Your business number is in no way affected by the tracking number. Essentially, it’s just another number customers can use to reach you now, and it helps to record your calls!

This feature can be turned on or off at any given time. To view the status of your call tracking, log in by following these instructions.
 

Once you are logged in, select “Dashboard” within the Sites Tool:

In the Dashboard Menu, click on “Site Settings”:

On this page, you will see whether your Call Tracking is enabled or disabled. The larger phone number is the tracking number that will appear on your website, and the phone number below it should match your business’s phone number.
